Job Family Compliance - General Job Description Summary Company Overview: This position will be with AEGON Asset Management, the organization which performs investment advisory services for many of Transamerica's insurance and operating companies as well as third party clients. Position Overview: Administrative support of regulatory compliance with federal securities laws, other relevant regulations, and internal policies. Job Description Responsibilities: Perform diverse administrative tasks related to wide range of compliance activities Organize team schedules and activities Coordinate records maintenance in support of AAM US' compliance programs Administer various activities in support of AAM US core compliance responsibilities (e.g., code of ethics monitoring and analysis) Assist in the preparation of management and internal reporting Coordinate the preparation of various compliance reports to clients and external constituents Support monitoring activities to assess compliance with internal policies, procedures, and federal securities laws Assist with the preparation of regulatory filings and other compliance documents Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or associate degree in business or related field preferred or equivalent education and experience. Previous work experience in the investment industry or compliance related fields is preferred. Preferred Qualifications: Team focused Outstanding written and oral communications skills Attention to detail and organizational skills, with ability to multi-task responsibilities in a dynamic environment Prior experience in an automated environment and/or high degree of comfort and fluency with computers and technology Proven ability to work in a small-team environment while effectively engaging with the individual team members Demonstrates a strong work ethic; results driven Professional maturity and ability to be discreet in working with highly sensitive information Job and compensation levels depend upon an applicant's qualifications including the extent of his/her relevant experience and other job related factors and will be determined by hiring supervisors/managers and HR.
